Fall into Savings at the IMHS Second Chance Thrift Shop

As the seasons change, so do things at the Second Chance Thrift Shop. We are welcoming in Fall with a very busy month planned.

With Halloween just behind us, it is time to re-stock the shelves as we prepare to celebrate our 7th anniversary. It will be 7 years on November 17th that we first opened our doors. The community has been wonderful and they know this is the place to shop for all those special treasurers as well as everyday items at truly affordable prices. Come visit us on Saturday, the 12th and Sunday, the 13th of November as we pull out all the stops for our 7th Anniversary sale. Most everything in the store will be 50% off (some exceptions). We are feverishly getting our holiday merchandise and special items ready for this annual event. We have a few other changes going on as well. We have streamlined our donation collection process. Our thrift store now accepts your gently used donations on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A volunteer will come to your car and assist you in carrying up those items we can accept. You can also get a "tax deductible receipt" from the cashier. Please be sure and check our list of items we are able to take and those we are not. You'll find this "blue sign" to the right side of the bottom steps. We thank you so much for your co-operation with our volunteers and our new hours. Our goal is to always offer you the best merchandise at competitive prices. And as if this weren't enough, we will be celebrating "Black Friday" on November 25th. Once again, most all of the store will be 50% off with a few exceptions. What a great time to cove visit us and stock up on all your holiday decorations as well as those special treasures for yourself and your family.
