Last Few Days to Donate to the Capital Campaign and See Your Money DOUBLED! Ends 11/19

Right now we have only a few days left to get all Capital Campaign donations for the new shelter fund doubled. From now till 11/19/16 all donations marked as "new shelter fund" or "capital campaign" are doubled, dollar for dollar, up to $50K. Thanks to our wonderful supporters and IMHS co-creators MC and Greg Johnson, we have the opportunity to take $50K and make it $100,000! So far, we've raised over $35,000 but we don't want to lose out on that extra $15K please. IMHS has sooooo very many ideas of where the new shelter should be and all the features it should have to best serve our community and save more animals, but we can't do it without you. This Capital Campaign will be going on till

Ever wanted Santa Claus to be a dog?

Our recurring Holiday themed fundraiser takes a new and FUN animal loving twist this year as a wonderful IMHS volunteer dons a dog costume, overlays it with a Santa costume to create a new character: SANTA PAWS! This fundraising event at Busters Natural Pet Supply in Conifer, is the perfect time to get your holiday photos made. Your purchase of the photo session will come with a digital copy of the results so you can make your holiday cards or post online of you, the kids, and of course, THE PETS! sitting on Santa Paws lap. This is a great offer as a lot of places don't welcome both your human and furry kids or grandbabies but IMHS and Busters do. Please support IMHS meet their end of the ye

Fall into Savings at the IMHS Second Chance Thrift Shop

As the seasons change, so do things at the Second Chance Thrift Shop. We are welcoming in Fall with a very busy month planned. With Halloween just behind us, it is time to re-stock the shelves as we prepare to celebrate our 7th anniversary. It will be 7 years on November 17th that we first opened our doors. The community has been wonderful and they know this is the place to shop for all those special treasurers as well as everyday items at truly affordable prices. Come visit us on Saturday, the 12th and Sunday, the 13th of November as we pull out all the stops for our 7th Anniversary sale. Most everything in the store will be 50% off (some exceptions). We are feverishly getting our holida

November's Volunteer of the month is Nancy Parks

Nancy has been with IMHS for just over a year and her efforts are tireless. Nancy is now our chief ambassador, meaning not only does she help with the animals directly but she also helps out in the office and works closely with staff in keeping things running smoothly. She helps coordinate and organize adoption events and does countless other things for IMHS. We appreciate her so much and want to thank her for everything she does for us!

Time to think about long-term Financial Planning? Want to remember IMHS in your will?

Diana Jansen has been a local resident since 2002, and started a financial services company in 2014 in partnership with New York Life. With all the changes in our daily lives, a periodic review of your insurance, financial and estate planning needs makes sense, but can sometimes seem overwhelming. That’s why it is important to work with a professional who takes the time to explain all the options, makes it easy, and most of all, who you can trust. IMHS trusts our member and community leader Diana Jansen and hopes you'll talk to her about giving to IMHS as part of your financial and estate planning. Her focus is on customizing financial and estate planning solutions for individuals and sm
