Ways to Help IMHS

Over 600 homeless and abandoned animals found a new home through our shelter last year. Could you help us?

Intermountain Humane Society is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. We receive no government support, but rely solely upon charitable donations, grants, fundraising events and adoption/surrender fees for our funding.

IMHS is proud to announce a partnership with Dr. Jeff Young and his team from Planned Pethood International who you may know from the Animal Planet series, Dr. Jeff - Rocky Mountain Vet. This is a win-win for two non-profit organizations sharing a similar mission: reduce the number of homeless pets and provide care for those in need. We are so excited to see what we can accomplish together. Both organizations subsist solely on the generous donations of animal lovers and grants and we hope we have your continued support moving forward.

For tax purposes, IMHS will be working under PPI as a “DBA”, but we are united in the designation of donations disbursement to continue to help the animals. The tax number is changing to the following: 84-1522523. If you have any questions at all about this collaboration, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations are very much appreciated. Online donations are securely processed through PayPalover the phone or at the shelter.

You may also mail donations to us at:

Intermountain Humane Society

PO Box 528

Pine, CO 80470

Pine Country Feed accepts monetary donations for us as well.  You can make a donation in person (13851 S Glen Dr., Pine, CO) or via telephone (303-838-5186).  Pine Country Feed has many items that we use on a regular basis.  When you make a donation, they put it on our "tab" so that we can purchase supplies on an as-needed basis.

Monthly Donations

You can also support IMHS with a monthly electronic funds transfer from your bank account. These transactions are securely processed through Paypal.

Other Ways to Help

Wish List

IMHS depends on donations of pet food and other supplies. We maintain a wish list of supplies currently needed. Wish list items may be purchased online or locally and dropped off at the IMHS shelter during business hours, when we will be pleased to provide a donation receipt to be used for tax purposes.

Vehicle Donations

Support Intermountain Humane Society by donating your vehicle. Your donation is tax deductible.

Thrift Store

Shop at or donate to our Thrift Store.  All proceeds from the Thrift Store are used to keep the shelter running!

Special Events

Throughout the year, we hold a variety of special events.  Watch our upcoming events page to know where we will be!  We have Hike-a-Thons, open houses, silent auctions, and many more exciting events!

IMHS Merchandise
Show your support!  We have t-shirts, sweatshirts, calendars, and more! Many of the items have been donated to us, so in many cases 100% of your money spent goes towards helping shelter animals!

Social Media

IMHS has a Facebook page, Instagram Account, Nextdoor, and Pinecam account.  We love to share adoption updates, adoptable animals' stories, and fun posts on these pages.  Like/Follow us, and share our posts.  When you share our posts, it helps us expand our audience to find new adopters, donors, and supporters; helps us reunite lost animals with their family; and promotes more of our events.
