Volunteer Needs and News for August
Volunteers! We love you and all you do for us. Of course we always need more volunteers so refer a friend! You are our best advocate and ambassador. We have a lot going on this month and have lots of news and need more help in the following areas:
More off-site adoption helpers. We could be doing 2-3 events each month if we had more volunteers for this
More alternates for cat and dog duty at the shelter
More Thrift Shop workers
More shifts available at both King Soopers and Safeway to sell reloadable gift cards
More Committee help and Committee Chairpeople
And obviously, the big one this month: Cause for Paws! 8/20 from 12-4.
We need all the vols we can there helping out so everyone gets a chance to eat and drink, socialize and bid on items. Please use our signupgenius link below to pick a shift.
Also, please know, you DO have to be there to win your item in a bid. If you can't stay till the end, please determine a fundraiser buddy who will get your bids for you.
News: We have new t-shirts, polo shirts and hats coming in just in time for Cause for Paws. If you pre-ordered, money is due by 8/20 at the event. If you didn't order you can still buy at the event. You can even spend just $5 more to get it to say whatever you want, like your name and volunteer! :) They are embroidered with this info and our logo so they are pretty sweet. And of course it is a fundraiser so you can feel good about the money going to IMHS.
