This page is for Pets in Private Households that need new homes.  These animals are not in the custody of IMHS, but we know that their owners need to find them a new home for a variety of reasons.  IMHS will provide information concerning these pets that has been provided by their families, but IMHS makes no warranty about the accuracy of such information.  In some cases, the owner's phone number will be provided with the information, if not, please call 303-838-2668 for more information concerning these pets.

If you need a new home for a pet and are willing to continue to care for the pet until such time as a new home is found, please contact us at 303-838-2668.  All pets entering this program must be sterilized, current on vaccinations, and all known health and behavioral  problems must be disclosed.  In many cases, IMHS can provide assistance with vaccination and sterilization if needed.  An Adoption fee is required when IMHS provides significant veterinary care.  Pets entering this Private Household adoption program may attend IMHS adoption displays when space is available.

Shadow Shadow is a 1.5 year old beautiful Dalmatian-mix who is active and happy, but doesn't get along well with one dog in her current household.  Shadow is good with cats, housebroken and just a sweet dog.  She might get along well with some dogs.   Her owners are seeking a new home for her.  You can visit with Shadow on Saturdays at our adoption display.
