Want to have some furry fun?

Try volunteering. You will meet new people, have fun helping animals, and make a difference in the community. Call or stop by and meet the friendly animals and staff.

 

 

 

In 1982, residents of the Bailey and Conifer areas organized  Intermountain Humane Society as a rescue group to help deal with the problems of stray pets in our community.  In addition, Park County at that time had no animal control program at all, making the problem a very disturbing issue for residents of that county.  Since then IMHS has faced many challenges and evolved into an organization that offers stability and integrity, while helping meet the needs of both the human and animal residents of our community.  We have adopted out over 4000 animals, most of those in the last 10 years.  It is our hope to build a shelter for the Bailey-Conifer community within the next 5 years while maintaining the IMHS goal of not having to euthanize adoptable animals.
