Available Cats

For their own safety, it is IMHS policy to require that the cats we adopt out are kept as indoor-only pets. Considering our rural location, we may make exceptions when the cat has a known history as an indoor/outdoor animal. In such cases, we will strongly encourage that these cats be kept in at night to reduce their chances of being killed by predators such as coyotes. The other exception is feral cats which we can adopt out as "barn" cats who may live their lives outside the home.

Following is a listing of all cats currently available for adoption. Once you have identified a cat(s) which you would consider adopting, or if you would simply like to have an application on file with IMHS, complete our on-line Cat Adoption Application.

SPECIAL NOTE: IMHS is a limited-intake facility. If you need to surrender an animal, you MUST contact the shelter to check on space availability. CALL us at 303-838-2668 BEFORE coming to the shelter with the animal.
