Fostering a pet

We desperately need responsible foster homes to take in homeless or unwanted animals for a limited period of time. Generally that ranges from a few days to a few weeks. Foster homes work with dogs, teaching manners, house-training and other necessary skills that some of our dogs lack. Foster homes must coordinate with our office staff in getting these animals to veterinary appointments and adoption displays. The benefits and inner rewards are unmatched!

  • Foster Homes are needed for dogs and cats.
  • Foster homes will be supplied with equipment such as kennels, dog houses, litter boxes, cat playpens, bowls, leashes and other supplies
  • Foster homes must commit to getting pets to and from adoption displays on Saturdays and to veterinary appointments.
  • Foster homes must commit to working with behavior and training issues, since not every foster dog is fully trained from day one!
